Terms of Service
By booking an appointment with Anong Traditional Thai Massage, you agree to the policies and procedures below. We hold these standards high and publish them for your understanding and convenience.
Scope of Practice: Therapeutic massage is a health-enhancing system that promotes body balance, function and relaxation, stimulating the body's natural restorative properties while reducing muscle tension. Our therapists are not licensed medical professionals and do not diagnose medical conditions; where appropriate we may refer you to a specialist. The benefits of massage therapy are cumulative — occasional appointments provide temporary relief, while regular treatment gives lasting results.
Appointments: We are open Monday to Sunday, closed Tuesday, from 10:00am to 7:00pm. To ensure availability we recommend scheduling your appointment in advance.
Deposit: A deposit is required when booking and is deducted from your total balance. Deposits are non-refundable and subject to the cancellation policy.
No Show: Clients who fail to attend a scheduled appointment will not be able to book future appointments unless full payment is made in advance.
Lateness: Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment so as not to affect other bookings. Arriving 5–10 minutes late without notice will be deducted from your session time. Arriving 15 minutes or more late without notice will be treated as a no-show, and your appointment may no longer be available.
Respect of Boundaries: A comfortable, professional environment is important for both client and therapist, and appropriate boundaries must be respected at all times. Any behaviour that disrespects this policy may result in the session being stopped immediately with no refund. In particular:
• Underwear must be worn at all times — no underwear, no massage.
• The breast and genital areas will not be massaged under any circumstances, and a professional distance is maintained from these areas.
• Sexual interaction, requests or discussion of any kind will not be tolerated; this is regarded as solicitation, will be reported to the appropriate authorities, and will result in dismissal and a ban from the business.
• Both client and therapist have the right to stop the massage at any time if either party is uncomfortable.
Sickness: We respect the health of our staff and clients and ask the same in return. If you feel unwell, please notify us as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel. Anyone showing signs of illness on arrival will not be treated and the deposit will be forfeited.
Sanitation & Hygiene: We operate under a strict cleaning regime to ensure a clean environment for everyone. We ask that clients also respect this and arrive appropriately presented.
Public Holiday Rates: Pricing on public holidays is subject to a minor increase on our regular rates in order to sustain our service during the holiday period. On public holidays, hot stones and warm oil are included with all massages, with the exception of the Traditional Thai Massage. These rates apply to all public holidays in 2026.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to make your appointment, at least 24 hours' notice is required. Cancelling within 24 hours means your deposit will be forfeited. You can notify us by phone or email, or by cancelling your online booking using the link in your confirmation email.
